Security Surveying Tips:
1. Lock Changes. As we said, you don’t know how many people have a key to your house. Get the door locks changed so you know your home will be safe. Don’t stop at the front and back door. We would recommend that you get all the external locks changed.
2. Install A Security System. There are lots of different security systems and alarms out there. Some can go off and work as a deterrent. Other alarms will alert you if it goes off so you can call the police.
3. Light It Up. If you have a long dark path to your house or large trees around your home then consider security lighting. Burglars love to work under the cloak of darkness. Using security lighting will deter them from breaking into your home.
4. CCTV Cameras. There are some really good quality and low-cost CCTV cameras on the market. Why not consider one for your home so you can see who is coming and going from your home at all times?
